5W Little Dragon 2.0

As some of you remember I did a build earlier in the year which I dubbed my 5W Little dragon. It's a simple 5W single ended amp. 1 x 12AX7 and 1 x EL84. This is version 2.0 where I'm still going to use the tone stack from the previous build and the one or two mods I did to that one, but I'm going to add a 6V6 tube to the output.... Selectable one or the other. Unfortunately the Trafo's I'm using can't handle both tubes at the same time, which does give me the chance to custom wind the trafo's so I can run them together and maybe just maybe add a blend knob 8). Anyway that's for another time.

Looking good! Love the switching between 6v6 and el84. That'll be one versatile little amp. The Egnater Rebel 20 also allows you to blend between 6v6 and el84 sound... very cool idea.

Ahh, so I see your transformers are stacked to one side of the chassis now... So not quite a rebuild of your first dragon.
What other mods besides the EL84/6V6 switch has it got over the first one?
Amp building fever is very serious!! Very! I've never found a cure, but learnt to live with it... ?
I've considered designing 5watt kits but my current projects keep me busy..

It's sounds beautiful. Will try and record something when I get a moment. Running it through a Laney IRT212 with Vintage 30's and woweeee ? is nice!
