Site Moving to US Server

Hey guys,

Sometime this weekend I'm going to be moving the forum to my US server. I'm basically getting rid of my ZA server as it's just costing me too much bucks. When I do the move, you'll see a note saying that the site is being moved, after I'm done, everything should work just the same as before, albeit a tad slower. The guys on broadband (ADSL @ work, etc) shouldn't notice a big difference but the dial-up guys will definitely feel it.

Sorry for the short notice but I need to cut costs quickly. And I need to do it before my ZA ISP cuts off my server ? Coz then we'll all be screwed and have no forum ☹

Nope, highly unlikely. The good news is that, done well, the site will only be down for an hour. The bad news is that a cock-up could see it down for the 4 or more hours ?
