Hey all,

It was raining lots on Saturday and this put me in a very nostalgic mood ? So I wrote and recording something using my POD HD500 and my RG2228 now that it has D-Activator pickups in it ? It's not flashy or anything but it's an example of using the low notes of the 8 to hold down a root while creating chords around it, the clean part is all played on one guitar but double tracked and panned ?

That's a nice theme, and I liked that you didn't include more than you had to. It could maybe be developed a little more, though you may feel (and you may be right) that it's sufficient as is.

Great stuff.

It is laid back as people suggest but not the elevator music that "Laid Back" and "smooth" conjure up but rather more on the progressive side with a bit more darkness in the piece, most probably the lower notes of the 8 string add to this.
