A half a song

i have harvested enough courage to post a little clip i made. i have excellent mouse-clicking drumming skills as u can hear. i'm just a n00b so be kind.

yer yer, but i dont really know know where to go from there, u know? i know i am playing a basic 1 4 5 progression but would i play that through the whole song? eish

Some of the most popular songs are like that, have almost no changes. Do whatever you feel the song should do - it's your song after all and there are no rules. Add some vocals and that could end up a really cool track.

If you want a more structured song. Try experimenting with typical structures like Verse - Chorus - Verse - Chorus - Bridge - Chorus, but make them your own and mix them up.

I reckon just being willing to post it and have people comment is great. I found the quickest way to progress was to play with other people. Even showing a friend some things, and having him try it out taught me a lot.

I don't see why this is half a song. Why not a whole song?

Also, I though it pretty good for a n00b... ?
