The REAL contest

Smith and Strauss are about to toss at the Oval. Any thoughts about this series? Other than that it deserves more than three matches? I think the crucial difference may be the tail end batting (assuming it stops raining long enough for the matches to reach a conclusion). Bresnan, Broad and Swann are useful. Our tail starts at 8.

well done guys.......... i'm not a 5 day cricket fan (yes shoot me) and prefer the 20 /20 format.......... even over the 50 over one by far ...i mean who has 5 days or even a whole day 8 hours to sit and watch one game ........ so strickly into the 3-4 hr 20 /20 format where i can see a result in one sitting ........ 20 /20 is my 'thing" and i'm a huge IPL fan ........ never missed a game .............anyway so despite me thinking 5 day cricket should have been mothballed years ago .......this one intruiged me ............... this game had me glued to it for a few hours on sunday when amla was approaching his 300 ....... but must say never watched much before sunday or even today till the very end ..................

they deserved the win ....... amd it was watching history with amla and his 300 ( ? reminds me of that movie 300 ..wonder if he also has those abs............) and then more history in just how often do we see England the current no1 team in world cricket get beaten by a whole innings and only getting 2 wickets in 5 days while SA got the full 20 and so awesome result
