So here they are following my well documented purchase from Thomann.
First up is my first Fender, a Fender JA-90 Jim Adkins Telecaster. Specs: semi-hollow ash body, modern 'C' shape mahogany set neck, rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, 1x Seymour Duncan Vintage P-90 pickup & 1x Custom P-90 pickup, adjust-o-matic bridge, 648mm scale, 42mm nut width, matching headstock. Colour: Ebony Transparent
Its beautiful - in some lights it has an almost green tinge to it. Quite light, fast neck and powerful pickups - only problem is that the nut at the bottom was a bit sharp when I first got it so scratched my hand a bit. Apart from that setup was great out of the box.
The other one I got was an Epiphone Nighthawk Custom Reissue. The specs for it: mahogany body, AAA flame maple veneer top, set mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, mother-of-pearl crown inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, 648mm scale, Slant NHT humbucker (4-wire) bridge pickup, NSX single coil middle pickup, NHR mini-humbucker (4-wire) neck pickup, 5-way switch, master volume, master tone (with push/pull coil tapping), nickel hardware. Colour: Translucent Black
Also very impressed with this one - another looker and I can get a serious amount of sounds out of it with the three different types of pickups plus the coil tapping.
