They weren't expensive guitars - the ones I've seen were pretty run-of the mill inexpensive Korean instruments, so probably under R1K, depending on condition.

Im not sure about the company themselves but I got one from my stepdad like 10 years ago. It was active - and hard to get used to at first coming from a tele. I had a digitech gsp 2112 and ran it through it. It was the best, fastest neck i had, 24 fret jumbo frets. The pickups were amazing, the string snap and presence was enough to blow my usa tele out of the water. I mnever knew how much my stepdad paid for it i guess, but ive owned some ibanezes and whatnot but that vester was my break in to a metal guitar. It got stolen a few years later. If i could find one for like 350 or less I would get it in a heart beat. to this day I havent had a guitar with action like that or sound. Take it with a grain of salt, but that digitech could push a sound through it I havent been able to reproduce since, or at least I havent spent crazy cash on an active guitar to find out either. All in all Id say its amazing rig if you can find one for like 300-350. I dont know how collectible they are, There seems to be a small cult following for them online. Id would just recommend them as a player, they get the job done and I believe them to be better than an ibanez in that price range, but as with all guitarists, if you find one, see if you can play it awhile first. Mine had a licensed rose but looking back I think Id upgrade to a usa made one. My .02$ anyway, hope it helps!
