Hello everyone. There's been some talk on the forum of late about shipping costs and so forth. And while I tend to buy my stuff here when I can, there is some stuff that I need that I just cant get here. So I came across a bunch called myus.com who reckon they do it by getting the stuff sent to a US street address and then sending it on to you. I'm not sure what the benefit could be. But maybe someone here is sharper than me and can draw me a picture to explain. And even better, maybe someone here has used this facility and can tell me about it.

It helps when a website is not willing to sell certain products to you i.e. MusiciansFriend won't sell Ernie Ball strings directly to you because they already have distribution here (or along those lines). I have looked into MyUS before, it seems that is the greatest benefit because it isn't too cheap from what I saw.

I've used myus.com for lots of stuff.
They work great.
Prompt and informative.
The shipping can get expensive so I tend to save it for rare items.
