Hi
I started playing at 15 - then life took over and I restarted 2 years ago after a 33 year gap...... :-[
Bit like teaching an old dog new tricks, but all is well...........
Still have original 75 Tele and an 87 Bullet Squire along with a couple of newer gits....
Look forward to re-learning more and more... ?

Welcome! A few nice guitars you have there!

Hi and welcome.
I see you have a 60th anniversary tele.
I tried that out and really liked it.
Fortunately the shop sold it before I had decided to spend that much on a guitar

Hi wizard
Yes, the 60th aniversary Tele is good, but the 75 plays still plays like butter..........Gibson SG..not making friends with it, so will move it on soon.,,,,

Welcome, I'm also not a fan of SG's. Tele's I recently warmed up to.

Bem vindo Pa! Your 'Tele sounds interesting!! I have a friend of mine who started playing in his 40's. He played some finger style blues once with my 'Tele through my Princeton amp and shocked me so much that I nearly gave him the guitar and the amp!! Shame about the 33 years, I can relate, mine spent nearly ten years under my bed! You're never too old!!

Thanks all for the welcome - the grey matter (and hair...) is still functioning and both hands are remembering what to do.............sometimes the dogs howl and the cats leave the house, other times the sweet sounds are great.....main thing is I am so getting back into stride and having huge amount of fun.....and in the autumn of life - why the hell not....... ?

...when the cats start leaving, you're usually in trouble... ? ?
Welcome! What a great move to have gotten yourself back into it! It's never too late and you're probably having more fun now than ever? :goodtimes:
