Seems Mr T (Mike Harmse) is doing another pedal party at Woodmead Marshalls on Saturday. Good things were said about the last one, plus there is a chance to win a pedal...

Marshall Music presents the 2nd annual Pedal Party on the 7th of July 2012...MXR, Way Huge, Dunlop, Vox, BBE and Zvex guitar pedals on demo by top session ace ALISTAIR COAKLEY and Tuerk Music's pedal guru Mike Harmse.

Calling all pedal heads in JHB! It makes the world of difference when checking out new pedals to hear them next to the old favourites that everyone knows. We'll be doing this when we do some pedal shootouts (overdrives, distortions & wah pedals) as well as showing you some of the cool and crazy new things you might not have seen/ heard before. I'll speak about effects chain, the different pedal bypass systems, choosing the right pedals to compliment your guitar & amp, powering your pedals and course you'll get to hear Alistair Coakley tearing it up on guitar through all the pedals. Whether you're in the market for new pedals or not I do guarantee you'll enjoy it and that you'll learn something in the process. And you could walk away with a free pedal anyway (ask Brendon "BluJu" Neuhaus). ?

Yup, at the Music Mate in Sable Square. You will have another chance though. There is another bigger version of the same event in the pipeline. I'm sure that Alan will let everyone know about that one when it happens.

So glad you enjoyed it! Both myself and Stu from Marshall appreciated you coming through and supporting this. It was great to meet a fellow forumite who is passionate about pedals. ? Well, you know the only know cure for GAS is to part with some hard earned currency... ?
