Acoustic Bridge with Hairline Crack...Need advice and help please...

Hey guys & girls

Today i noticed these tiny cracks on my bridge... I found this extract on the net and is basically carbon copy of what i have:

"It's basically a hairline crack between all pins, most notable between 2 to 5. The cracks are parallel to the grain of the wood and the crack is soooo thin. I think i've caught it really early so it isn't catastrophic at all"

So i have 2 questions here.

1) Where in JHB, near Edenvale preferably, is a honest and fair luthier who will do a good job but also charge me a fair rate to repair it.

2) Anyone who knows of or has had bridge repairs etc...what kinda money am i looking at to repair something like this...100 bucks...1000 bucks? I know there's a lot of variables, but just wanting to see what people's experiences have been... really worried about getting ripped off.

Asking the tech will cost you nothing ? Show him the guitar and ask him for an estimate. Then you can decide.

As noted , Neon Gecko on this forum has a good rep - send him a PM . Or you could take a trip to Music Connection in Randburg (on Jan Smuts avenue, north of Hyde Park corner and south of Old Parktonians). They have a good workshop.
