No menu

Hello Admins
The menu across the top has disappeared. For me anyway. So do you know what setting could be wrong in my IE or is it another issue? Just started yesterday sometime.

I got that too this morning. Firefox 13.0.1 on Win 7. Adblock plus installed but disabled (I can see the banner ads)

Same with IE 8.0.7601 and Chrome 19.0.1084.56 - no menus at the top of the page.

Couldn't get in via BB this morning either. It said "Account suspended".

I have a shortcut to 'Unread" and got a real fright when I used it and was told my account had been suspended :'( ☹ I tried the standard link and thankfully I have not been suspended but my menu has als dissapeared. It wernt bye bye last night already.

I got the same problem and I can't see the menu either. My first thought last night was: "Oh, crap, what'd I do this time?" ???

Try updating DNS settings to: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Norio , i would ask the isp hosting the dns todo a forcereload of the guitarforum zone file , i have seen a few time updates not really going threw correctly . Force reload will make all other dns servers get new records . Hope it helps

Still no menu for me. Did the settings thing work for anyone? About an hour ago it just said "This account has been suspended" again.

Last night I got a this account has been suspended and now it's back and OK.

and now the menu is gone again. and in Chrome the whole top bar thing with GuitarForum and the advert is gone.

The stuff that is missing seems to be on articles.guitarforum.co.za, not www.guitarforum.co.za.

I have access to three different connections via 3 different ISPs. The problem, for me, moves with the ISP. With Vodacom or IS it's fine, with Cell C it's a balls up.

I can't connect from home at all anymore ... back to "account suspended".
It came alive for a few hours yesterday; but reverted to this rejection state.

Now at work I get access but, like others, have no menu.

Thanks! ? I *am* the ISP in this case and have forced-reloaded the BIND server. Unfortunately the TTL on the new server is a bit high, so it may take some time to reflect.

I'm also waiting on my EPP registration with UniForum to be accepted as then I can easily update the authoritative nameservers for all 800+ domains at once.

I did that DNS thing and the menu is all sorted, shot for that Norio.

I dunno if it's just me, but I've been gettin' all sorts of goofy adds at the top of the page lately, including a link to an Asian Babe's site who are supposedly keen to meet me ??? Nothing guitar related as was the norm in the past, is this normal?

Yep those ads are normal. They're targeted by Google so if you don't like the ads, you can change your preferences with them:
