TOMS sale victim

Anyone else fall victim to the annual sale at TOMS ? I went in looking for a practice amp and came home with a Marshall Class 5 amp, a Boss RC 30, 4 sets of strings and 2 cables

I was looking at a smaller cube and the Ibanez TS but the salesguy (Christo I think) convinced me to take the Marshall.
There were about a hundred people in there and place was chaos so he wouldn't let me test it, but he told me I could phone the store and tell him he was a doos if I didn't love the amp.
Anyway he isn't a doos ... this amp has serious tone and other than the fact that its a bit loud to be a practice amp I am seriously happy.

Good thing the sale is still on tomorrow cos I realised when I got home that I need a reverb pedal. Any suggestions ?

How much was the RC30?

I was there - pretty disappointed in the higher end guitar category but there were a few Ibanez models that I dont see often that caught my eye. I was after a Fender Telecaster, but they only had two varieties. I then went to Music Connection and they only had about 5, and then Music Mate in Park Meadows just had one... I got home feeling quite deflated - for once I went gear shopping with money to burn, but got home with zip :-\ I did get to meet Sean from the forum though so not all a waste of time! ?

I was in the area so I stopped by. Yeah, that store was packed, goodness, my wife immediately went to stand in the queue while I took a look around ? haha Anyway, I managed to get out there without spending any of my own money (a friend of mine asked me to pick up a keyboard for her. Found something within her budget)
I met up with Giggsy, who managed to make it out unscathed as well ? ,but he was on his way to Music Connection , so we might be seeing a NGD thread after all ?

Haha! No NGD yet... have found a tele online though that I will probably order on Monday, and will probably also go back on Monday to TOMS to see what, if anything, is left

I went through at about midday to buy a Boss RC-3 with PDS100 my Mom gave me for my birthday and ended up buying a TU-3 tuner as well ?. I was surprised how much they had discounted the Boss pedals.

5 different varieties of Fender Telecaster at MC and that wasn't enough? ?
Between the Music Connection and TOMS Sandton they have most of the 'important' Telecaster models.

I fell victim bad.

Fancy guitar (John Scofield signature, more details and pics to come), 8 pedals, set of studio monitors and some cables. Should be time for a pedal sale soon considering the collection. ?

Ah I haven't had a minute to try it yet!
But the nylon string Ibanez I got for 800bucks is really good.
Needs some fretwork, but they said they'd do it for free after the sale.
