I love the smell of a well-made acoustic guitar. (Not to mention tone etc...) You know when you shove your nose into the soundhole and inhale? :-[ That room must smell like heaven too... (I feel a bit weird sharing this but its true...)

I didn't know they have shops in heaven. Figured since shops are there for money and money's the root of all evil, there would be no shops. What would be the point of putting so many guitars on the wall if there's millions of good guitarists in heaven? I reckon heaven will be more the place where people who go through a lot of gear (like yourself, Mika) can sort their ideal setup in a matter of days since everything is available, free, will never break, get stolen or sound bad..........

I'm so glad I saw this post today. Going to be in Chicago at the end of this month. Seriously going to twist my dads arm to let me go there. Probably won't be able to buy a thing, but at least I'll be able to drool over something expensive!

Wowzers! But how weird is it to look at a video showing guitar after awesome guitar but all this is happening against the soundtrack of piano jazz. The soundtrack is lovely and all but it just seemed wrong.

ROFL. I can only imagine walking into a shop like that where all the guitars are lefties and I can't play a single one of them... That certainly would be hell.

Voodoo strats were never made in lefty config ........ this exact video and sebbers voodoo strats gave me the idea of putting right handed neck on left handed body , not done it yet though

But you'll change the nut and string it left handed, Doyle plays a regular right handed neck strung right handed, he plays everything upside down. ?

With regards to lefty players playing the guitar strung as a righty, there are a few guitarists I know of who play this way, and some of them are the best I've heard play! Michael Card is one such player! I once tried playing a lefty guitar (strung for a lefty) with my usual rightyness, and couldn't even fathom how the brain can cope with trebble strings being at the top, and bass strings at the bottom? Feels very alien to me!

I know one reason why you find a lot of the older left handed players developed this playing style was simply because back in the days that they started learning, left handed guitars simply were not available. Some folk chose to restring right handed guitars left handedly, others I suspect shared playing with a right handed parent, so restringing the guitar was not an option, there fore they learnt to play left handed with right handed stringing!

Sorry if this is getting to far from original topic? To return us to the OT, that room would be like heaven, as long as it wasn't filled with cheap guitars, and only if it had a number of Lowdens and Tacoma's available! Hehe!
