Practice amp. Tech 21 Amps any good?

Was wondering if anyone on the forum has had any dealings with the Tech 21 amps.

I'm thinking of maybe trying out their Trademark 30 amp for a practice amp and possibly using at church. I'm currently using either a Zoom G3 or Boss GT-10 through a Roland keyboard amp. That setup works well, but i would like something simpler, where i'd spend more time playing then tweaking patches, and where i don't have to lug so much stuff around.
I like that it has a FX loop(stomp boxes, or the multi-fx), and can go straight to the PA. That will help for church.
I also like that it covers the 3 main bases amp sound-wise (Fender/Marshall/Mesa). That will help for noodling at home.

Any other suggestions are also welcome. Doesn't only have to be Solid State(but try to stay away from modeling-got the pedals for that), also been wanting to step into valve territory. My only other valve experience was when i owned a Fender Superchamp XD.

go for it,thats all I used overseas,
I had a trademark 10 and a trademark 60,late 90's versions
I often used the ext out to a 4x12 quad as well.
The 60 was way loud for a regular transistor amp,actually loudest 60w i've ever heard..LOL...and heavy...customs woulda pulled me over just to see whats inside that weighs so much ..LOL
The amp switches are similar to a GT2 stompbox,actually sound identical to my ears
I gave them to a mate to keep indefinetly till i go back sometime,
I just guaranteed myself a place to stay in advance really..LOL
I didnt even know they sold them here..I'd hate to see the price....LOL

The Trademarks are pretty good sounding amps (I'm a big fan of the Tech 21 stuff), but are for me a little too limited on the variety of amp sims. I like a Vox sound on hand, while I wouldn't use the Mesa much. I don't know if they are being imported though - while there is a Tech 21 distributor, there seems to be a very limited the range available here.

I'd probably go Fender Mustang first. I've got one here ATM and am enjoying it immensely. Simple, easy to use live and sounds pretty good.

Glad to hear that they good amps.

@ Alan. I've actually had two Mustang amps. The 3 and the 4. I upgraded from the 3 to the 4. But the 4's power switch gave up the ghost as well as the round selector knob. I really liked them, got some nice sounds out of the mustang. But after the 4 went, I got the keyboard amp. I'm hoping that the trademark will be able to let me play more then the other modeling amps and gear. In the sense that I'll spend less time tweaking settings then actually playing. And hopefully the trademark will also give a few different sounds to choose from(just this sentence makes me want to suggest a modeling amp to myself ?
Otherwise maybe a nice tub amp that can do cleans and overdrive well is the other option. But living in "The Gat" - Kimberley, there isn't opportunities to test out different amps. and YouTube can only help out so far with a decision.

@ Exsanguinator I going to the States next month. Maybe I should go check if you amps are still ok! Lol
