Hi All,
I've been cleaning house and found some old song files (alto sax, trumpet, piano, bass guitar,) filled with printed sheet music that my dad put together (I think in the 60's/70's). I reckon he got hold of a whole bunch of books and put together his own customized books. I don't recognise most of the songs (I recognize Falling Leaves & Killer Joe), looks like a lot of old musical scores from movies and a few classics (Blue Danube).
The question is : Is there any inherent collector's value in old sheet music, especially as it is just a large collection of uncataloged loose sheets, not the original books themselves?
Thanks!
