Switchfoot SA Tour

Mr-M

Not seen any threads on this, so I'm assuming that either nobody knows about it or nobody knows who Switchfoot are. Anyone aware of this and does anyone here actually know who Switchfoot are?

They're playing in JHB at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City on 8 August and CPT on the 11th at the Grand Arena. I'm obviously a big fan, hence the post. ? The marketing seems to have been a bit lacking so far being only on Facebook and Twitter AFAIK.

I'm a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of Switchfoot. I am going to fly up to Joburg to see them. Wish they would come to Durban, but alas, Joburg will have to do.. Going to have to buy some warm clothes ?

A great band , I have the "The Beautiful Letdown" , great album with some great songwriting. "Meant to Live" is a huge song.

Awesome band! Bought tickets for the JHB show as soon as they went on sale, really looking forward to it!

That's pretty crappy for you. I feel your pain. Happened to me earlier this year when Sting was here and I was keen to go but was overseas. I'd be much more upset about missing Switchfoot though. Hope you get another opportunity to see them.

Maybe I'll see you at the Joburg show. Ironically I'm thinking of flying down to the Cape Town show with some friends and making a weekend of it. One of the aforementioned friends actually flew up to London not too long ago specifically to go to two of their shows, so it wouldn't be too extreme in comparison for me to catch two shows in SA. ?
