That Tower of Power (the one you saw at PA) is made from Zambian Kiaat. I would think twice before building anything like that again. The idea was to redefine guitar amp in as many ways as possible (especially size and power). It is being rebuilt actually. I'll post a photo: need to dig it out.

OK...I really don't want to sound like a dick or pessimist here as I'm a big gear enthusiast but, how an amp looks is 5% of it's sound.
How come some folks here wish to buy this amp without having heard it?
I apologies if this offends anyone but It was just irritating me a bit.

There are top engineers that have been fooled in a blind test between an average mic-preamp with a fancy case and a mic preamp made at home with a PCB and a bunch of electronics and cables everywhere. They all assumed the better, clearer one was the fancy looking one...
...they all lost too.

Perhaps there are clips I haven't found yet?

Maby because Karel Mars had build it..........................just a thought.
He is one of the top valve amp guys in the country, if not the world.

But it is right to be concerned to know how something sounds before buying it.

I dunno Dean, I think you were right, you do have to try before you buy. It could be the "best guitar amp in the world" for the owner and still be completely unsuited to what another player needs - it was built specifically for someone, presumably for their tastes.

Of course, that's the advantage of going for a custom builder (guitars too) - If you know what you want, they can build it for you.
