That might be what started the evil cycle but, if you listen to him on the video, he shows an astonishingly defiant attitude. "Sometimes I get bored with how I look and I feel it's time to change something" or "I see my body as a canvas". It's sad that he actually believes it but I suspect it's all just him desperately trying to justify this mess he's caused.

Things can go badly wrong with plastic surgery, and it's only when it does that you end up looking like a freak that people start questioning your motives and your mental state. Sting's nose changed shape a few years ago, but he doesn't get pilloried for messing with the face that mother nature gave him. Ozzy Osbourne has had plastic surgery. There are reasonable questions about changes in Tori Amos' appearance. Gene Simmons had a facelift on TV. Cher's repeated procedures are no secret.
Maybe it's like drinking... most of us can have one or two then stop, but some folks get hooked.
