Help! Please...

So I built a BYOC OD2 earlier this year, and since it worked first time, I thought I could build anything. Turns out, painting by numbers does not prepare you for anything...

I decided to build a pedal from scratch. I decided to start with the BazzFuss, since it had a small component count, and seemed very easy. Also, according to the interwebs, it is supposed to be a no brainer.

Decided to first breadboard it, according to the to following schematic:

Easy right?

Well, no. I get signal to the amp, but no fuzz. So only clean.

Have you connected the rails (-) to the ground of both input and output jack?

Asem! Thanks Gearhead! That did the trick. Now to get the components onto some perfboard and into an enclosure...

Amazing to think how just those few components builds you a pedal.

I really want to try my hand at building a few pedals as well. I tried a good while ago, went to Communica and bought a whole bunch of components but I came to find quite a few of the transistors were hard to come by. This one looks really easy though, think I might give it a go, I might even have enough of the components from my first and only visit to Communica!
