Here are my ladies ?
My "Go To Guitar" is the Blue Fender MIM Strat. If i have a gig with limited space while traveling its the guitar i take with, if i go to a jam session with random people and not knowing what we going to play, it's the fender!!!
It's fitted the Fender with Lace Sensors (Red/Silver/Blue) and has two modded TBX tone controls.
The Squier has Tex Mex single coils and Fender Humbucker(with coil tap). And the custom build has Fender Hot Noisless with a EMG Afterburner(which made a huge difference to these pickups). So in the pickups department i have HSH, HSS, ans SSS pickup combinations to choose from. But the Lace sensors are just awesome, i can get almost any kind of sound i would want especially with the help of the TBX's. The noiseless are the most dissapointing. Want to swap them out for something else hopefully soon.
The Fender also has the best neck to play on, it's not as meaty as the custom and the squier being the middle ground. The strat also only has the vintage sized frets(compared to the medium jumbo's on the other two). THe neck just plays like butter.
The body also feels more comfortable to me, and it's also the lightest of the group.
Recently also put a brass bridge block into the strat and man what a diferrence to the tone and sustain. Didn't really have problem with the sustain before, but could definitely tell the difference between the two bridge blocks. Other mods is just locking tuners and graph tech nut and bridge saddles, so tuning is definitely not a problem ?
The second "Go To Guitar" would be the Epi Le Paul. Fitted with Seymour Duncan Jazz and JB humbuckers and also wired with the Jimmy Page wiring. So its also a very versatile guitar.
Thats my story and i'm sticking to it.
Sorry if it was boring ???
