Where can I get a pick guard cut?

Anyone know where in CT I can get a guard cut? It would need to be 5 ply with a bevelled edge.
The reason I ask for CT is, it is for a SG and it needs to be contoured to the body.
Any ideas?

Look up CnC cutting in your area. There's the guy from Mechmate down there who has one set up. They charge per hour if you supply material. Just make sure they know how to cut the selected material and take extra in case of issues.

Yeah, +1. You'd need to get the material though :-\ You will most likely have to order from yonder across the seas, as I'm not aware of anyone around here that sells that kind of thing. There are loads of CNC places in Stikland industria. http://www.cncrouting.co.za/ have actually been doing repairs for them the last couple of days.

Mmm, a template will need to be made and I am not sure my hand is steady enough. I need a SG guard, so I will have to trace the contour of the body by hand. I can use the old guard as a start, maybe a cardboard template is the way to go.

you got a pic ?

it should be possible to scan it in, and retrace the shape, and laser cut it. do you have the pickgaurd material already ?

the other alternative is to cut it out by hand with a band saw, and make router guides for the pickups(if the hands is not to flimsy)

I still need material, I was hoping someone who makes PG's would have the correct material.
