I got given a ticket.. But this whole parking deal is not so kiff. Have to pay R50 for a parking ticket and go fetch it from Gateway. I don't exactly what to drive 30 minutes to fetch a parking ticket.. So, maybe i'll go! ?

Paul, those tickets are expensive and you can be sure the show will be an absolute spectacle. You'd be crazy to miss it simply because of a R50 parking ticket and a trip to Gateway.

I went to the live Top Gear show.
If you like Top Gear you will love the live show.

I was astonished to realize that those 3 fools can actually drive fast cars well !!
You somehow imagine that because it's on TV it has been engineered in some way.
The opening of the show had them driving into the small arena ... FAST ... in an array of Ferrari's, Lambo's etc.

One word of advice ... take earplugs ... it can get very loud.

Being a massive TG fan I used to wonder if they could drive...after the 'Top Gear: Bolivia Special' (aired late 2009) - where they took three very 2nd hand 4x4's across South America - I was more than convinced - heish, the section on the andes mountain roads is nothing short of insanity.

I'd hate to go for a track day with them and get lapped repeatedly by Captain Slow - I'd have to change my nick ?
