Ok, it's a cover but have a listen...very very laid back...me strumming the simple chords with wife throwing the vox.

Thanks! The guitar used is a Washburn Millennium. (Mine is nr 12 of only 24 made). The guitar track was recorded in one foul swoop...no retakes or nothing, so there's some fret buzz and stuff but I like it...gives it a nice organic feel i think.

My wife is not a full time voxist no. She sang in my previous band Laconia (metallllllll....www.laconia.co.za) and this tune was a request of hers. I was glad to oblige as it was the first ever vocal recordings I have done, as well as the first proper recordings I am doing myself. The Laconia stuff (if you wanna listen) was recorded at the other guitar player's place.

But this with my setup.

However if I may....I hear majors where there should be minors....? In which key are you doing this ?

No it's in A (or possibly G# as I could have downtuned to D#...cannot remember now)...could also be that some of the chords are supposed to be minor,,,still sounds good to my ears... ? ...guess that's all that matters... ???

Start in eg..... Am.... (linking chords....Em, G,(only the notes G and B), to Am)... Am... (Em, G, Am) Am, Dm, F6, Am.....

I less liked what sounded like midi bass and piano.
should have kept it more raw if possible, added another few guitar
sounds panned for a bigger tone but all in all good effort, Im sure
youll learn as u go on.

Yes the bass and piano-synth is produced by HALion. I'm not gonna buy a bass at this stage just for messing about. The guitars and vocals are actually very slightly panned L&R but I tried to stay away from layers of guitars to keep it as straight forward as possible, "live" sounding and not too produced. The piano I just added as an afterthought (I know it sounds fake, but wth, you know)
