this weekend a guitar aquisition came my way that i was not expecting, but i was offered it and i took the deal, not sure if its perfect for my style , but i was in the market for a "better" jazz guitar and this may qualify the jury will return with a verdict at a later date ...........
ok so i acquired a Tokai ES155 , which is a vintage Gibson ES335 copy
it's flamed maple top back and sides......mahogony neck and made in Japan
this will be the sister guitar to my archtop which is an epiphone emperor regent which also has maple back and sides, but being a full acoustic archtop has a spruce top and maple neck
anyway i had the ES out at 2 gigs this weekend ..... heres some pics of my two blondes............
