Alter-Irving Band's new single play-listed on 94.7

Howzeeet. This is our new single that's been play-listed on 94.7. A while ago I posted a version of this song that we recorded in my Garage Studio. A month or 2 later, we did the Save the Rhino CD launch at The Victory Theatre and Mark Beling, who was also on the bill, saw and heard the band live for the first time. He was sufficiently impressed by the song to offer to record/produce/and mix the track for us at no charge. So after 2 days at Mark's studio, this was the result. Great Mix. Great sound. Leon Played an Acoustic kit, can't remeber what it was, but he used his Orange County Custom snare. Mike used an active Warwick 5-string bass. Cindy used her Ovation 12-string and Stewart played his Crafter Acoustic. I used my '73 Strat going through the Kemper Profiling Amp and I also used some very expensive Acoustic Guitar of Mark's. Once again, the make and model escapes me, all I know is that it was a bloody nice bloody nice guitar. Should we sing 'answer' the way us South Africans pronounce it , or the American way? ?

you must be imagining, we'll NEVER buy a MIA instrument over another. That's just ludicrous. :? I guess a tele doesn't com ewith an accent. ?

I'd rather hear natural than any accent put on. Has anyone heard Shirley Manson talk? if she sang in her native accent we'd never understand her... ?

Averatus point about forced American is a good one tho, listen to Seethers last one, while the album is neither here nor there musically IMO, his obviously forced accent is ridiculous and, quite frankly, makes the album unpallatable.

I wasn't too crazy about Seether's latest offering. It was a total break from their usual style and I just didn't like it as much as their earlier work.

Nice album ,good voice ,the images conveyed by the voice are startling ,lots of experience there.

not my genre in case you all think i am getting soft in the head but enjoyable nonetheless

My bands lead vocalist has an American accent, even though she's a South African. Born here and all, but her mom grew up in California, so she naturally got her mom's accent.

Sometimes people think she's a poser for "trying" to sound American, meanwhile she can't help it ?
