See, it's exactly this kind of obsession with English soccer that makes me want to vomit. The English play one the ugliest styles of soccer and they're crap. They are no longer a part of EURO 2012 (as right they shouldn't be) and here we are, still going on about English league teams.
Let's hear your opinions on two fascinating games that have just been played, ESP-POR and GER-ITA, or let's hear your opinions on an amazing final that is in store for us. Heck, let's hear your opinions on any of the games that has been played or any of the 72 goals that have been scored so far in EURO 2012. But please, I don't think I can stand another bit of the highly irrelevant information on local level English soccer when there are so much more interesting and delightful soccer around.
Haha - I did mention Veloso? ?
But thats the thing with English football - many, probably most, of the fans would rather have their club team doing well rather than the national team. Its just so engrained in the culture. Hell, I even have a United tattoo and I have a bit more South African blood in me than English.
As for the final, I really do not know who I would like to win it less... yes, the Spanish pass the ball alot, and yes, the Italians have done well with little expectation of them, but I was really hoping for the Germans to progress as I like their style of attacking play.
