How times change..............

The date is 1989, we were back in the UK for a few months and for a 16th birthday present, my uncle and sister took me to top of the pops. Now for those that didn't grow up in that period that were teenagers, TOTP was THE go to television recording to go to in the UK and pretty much worldwide.

I found the original video last night at home and managed to find it this morning on youtube.

1) I pretty much developed a thing for red heads from that year for some or other reason.
2) I do very vividly remember when she did her mock pole dance and headbang at 0.44.
3) I remember at 1.41 when I was shunted out of the way for the camera to come through.
4) You could see Victoria's bum in that skirt she was wearing as the stage was a good 50cm higher.

What was also funny was that, I didn't even notice that they weren't even playing instruments........lol.......never really came up.

Went back 2 years later on holiday and went to donnington.........MONSTERS OF ROCK!!!!!!!

It was.........it was also pre-soft stage from Metallica. James still had a mullet and swore a lot.

Even Motley Crue had an amazing stage show.
