Would this be too mean?

giggsy

I was thinking of putting up an ad on Gumtree, even using the pic from this guys ad http://capetown-westerncape.gumtree.co.za/c-Sports-Leisure-musical-instruments-STOLEN-SAXOPHONE-W0QQAdIdZ385489755 saying:

Blessing Alto saxophone - like the one in the picture. Comes with old hard case - can remove the stickers if you want. Also comes with extras - will throw in a jazz mouthpiece, microphone which you can clip on, strap and some spares. Only had it for a few days...

Would I be struck by lightning?

AlanRatcliffe

Don't. You never know when the police will get involved and go to effort tracking you down and end up knocking at your door. "It was a joke!" rarely works as a defence for a wasting police time charge.

I reckon you knew the answer to this one before you posted ? Still, good that a few more of us know to look out for this guy's sax.

giggsy

I know, I know... :sorry:

But it would have been funny if I had put it up a few minutes after seeing the ad! ?

Conrad

Yep that would be too mean.

GaryMac

Depends what you mean by "funny".

Some people thought that United getting thumped 6-1 by City was funny........................................

GaryMac

jt

City owning united was mere justice!

giggsy

I guess that's why its called a wicked sense of humour... feel really bad for the guy though.

I dont know what football team you are affiliated with GaryMac, but United have a lot less 'laughable' moments than most teams. And since when did justice cost 500 million quid? ?
