ok.. So I'm really into cars. I was on the point of buying a supra. Had the money and eveyrhting. Just had to say, Hey ship it! But I got talked out of it and so I faded a bit out of the drag racing scene.
After a while I bought a brand new 2008 Ford Bantam and desided to keep it stock. A little bug started bitting and I only did small things. decat, 252 cam(sohc) 57mm exhasut and freeflow.
I was on my way to the voeltrekker monument and i heard a golf 3's DV(Dump valve.. and for extreme noobs.. the things that goes ttttttssss on a tubro car). And I was hooked! It was like a bad drug! I just had to turbo the Bantam. It was a 1.6i... Notice I said it WAS a 1.6i.
So I talked around and desided I'm going to turbo it. But I just thought that 120kw on the wheels was just not enough.. So I'm doing a...

0-100 in 4-5 seconds.
0-200 in under 20 seconds.
400m potensial of 12.0s(yeah i know this for a fact)
Can boost 1.2 bar on stock pistons and make 230kw+ on the wheels.
Later I'll get a set of Wiseco Pistons for R5000 and the rings( yeah sold seperatly!) for R2500. then I can start boosting 2 bar+ and make 300kw+ on the wheels.
I'm getting my baby back end November! I cant wait!
just a little fun fact... the fastest street legal 4 cylinder front wheel drive turbo only bantam is 11.5s on the 400m. With wiseco's I can do better. So the only thing in my way of owning the fatsest Bantam in SA is the damn pistons a slicks. A set of M/T slics, front runners and rims go for...... wait for it...... R35 000!!! Crazy!
