Possibly it's just the recording, but it was far too busy for me. I couldn't really "follow" it. With all the acoustic percussive guys at moment, they have simplicity with a great melody, a simple harmony and some percussion. I found the melody was lost in the the strumming and the "percussion".
I like the idea, in fact, I really like the melody. But, I'd redo it without any percussion and focus on the melody and harmony. Get that going well. There were several mistakes, as you were trying to accomplish a little too much.
I am being harsh as I couldn't play what you just played, so thumbs up for that. But, I am comparing you with other youtube greats!
