MikeM I think this pic says more than words can It rocks! There are a few niggles, but for a MIC guitar, it's pretty great. Solid tuners too! Pickups aren't great though IMO, a worthwhile upgrade, and sounds pretty great with the new ones I put in.

MikeM Karlpepper Bought it on the GFSA Tokai clearance deal! Alan, I stole Nico's 2 pairs of P90s, at the moment I have a set in by Mike Reilander. 7.2k neck, 8.2k bridge, all A5. Gonna pop one A8 in the bridge to fatten things up a bit more. Struggling with the balance. I'll probably end up ordering a set something like 7k neck with 2 small A5 mags, and 8.5k bridge with A5/A8. The stock pups were 10.5k and 12.2k...

MikeM Yea quite shocking! I think they're actually related to the Epiphone pups, the baseplate has Epiphone stamped on it, but they're flipped upside down, so you can only see it if you dissemble it. They're probably AWG43 from the specs, also explains the peakiness in the highish mids.. Rein, that's been my plan exactly!! Got a trem, single coil, dual HM with TOM, a super simple P90 and an Iceman for the brütals. There are very few electric tones I can't get now.
chris77 I've seen the adds and checked them out online, but none of the promo pics look as good as yours does! ? ? Wow, she's a beaut. That is the smart kid in the workers class Strat family who went to varsity and came back with a suit and tie. Still a Strat, but with a touch of class. Congrats, she's a keeper for life that one. Now to look for Mike's. Seems I somehow I missed her arrival... :-[
