A week for playing some awesome guitars
Keira-WitherKay
I've had an amazing week of being exposed to fab guitars ,
on tuesday one of my students and i were talking guitars , and he has been using a yamaha silent guitar at lessons and he's a good jazz guitarist but the guitar tone was great for study didn't suit the style for gigs so we were talking about options , then he pipes up and says oh i also own an ovation and i thought well al di meoli gets jazz tones out of an ovation , then he adds i also have this , .............
And he goes to fetch a ken parker all carbon graphite made in usa fly , my eyes lit up , it was incredible the action was low and so easy , and the tone was awesome dual humbucker and piezo bridge , i dialed in instant jazz tone and the feel was amazing , i've played a lot of the wooden made in the east ones but this was like a totally different instrument , and super light about 3 kg or even less thin body but comfortable to play ,
i want one ?
then wed my 1pm student arrives with his brand new fender custom shop nos 60's strat , wow yet again , need i even say hoe awesome the custom shop fenders play and sound,
well 2 great guitars and next week i get to see the fender supersonic 22w amp the student with the custom shop strat ordered ,
so being a tutor got me to play on 2 beauts, love my job ?

Agreed!
The Eastern made ones are worlds away from the way a real Parker feels...
