My personal favorites for other reasons are Powerslave and Seventh Son

After Powerslave they seemed to disappear up their own collective backside (they were verging on it for Powerslave - Rime of the Ancient Mariner, but Flash of the Blade and Big 'Orra saved it).

Squonk Managed to borrow Piece of Mind Listened to first four tracks. Sounding like a lot of Priest Influence so far
Hammeron Squonk, Powerslave probably the best, but get some new era stuff. After Blaze Bayley left and Dickinson returned along with Adrian Smith. The guitarists Murray and Gers remained in the band giving them the pretty unique status of having three of them, my fave from this line up was "A matter of life and death" Brill!

But no doubt NOTB, Piece of Mind and Powerslave pretty much define Iron Maiden. And Matter of Life and Death was a late breaking suprise, what an excellent album too.
