velcro ?

1.Hi all,just a question,what type of velcro would you all recommend to fasten pedals to the pedalboard? Thanks c.

I just went to a material shop and bought some strips of self-adhesive Velcro. My pedalboard (and, I think, most pedalboards) already has the fuzzy texture (Velcro calls this side "loops") so all I needed was the prickly part (Velcro calls this side "hooks"). Then you just peel the sticky backing off and stick it to your pedals, and attach where needed.

For pedal boards without the Velcro loops backing, you'll need to get both sides of the Velcro, and glue them down in the appropriate spots on your board.

Something I've found is that the stuff I bought isn't really suitable for holding very heavy pedals in place when my board is on its side. In those cases I'll need to apply my own glue to the Velcro strips, because the normal adhesive isn't strong enough.

That's a 5m roll, more than enough for even a large pedalboard. RS should stock a variety of lengths and widths though.
