not sure if this is in the rules of the forum to post or NOT ..... and of course if unacceptable please just delete this ...........
since NO cash is donated only blankets , everything is going to the people needing it , so i think this is a great cause to get behind.........
but if you check out the events section you will see i am performing at this charity event (well one of many related to the blanket drive) this saturday in northcliff jhb ............
however i was thinking if anyone in jhb area wanted to help out by donating a blanket who can't make the event which is gonna be fabulously fun, bubbly /jazz/cool people...what more do you want for a saturday afternoon and for a good cause
but as i mentioned if you can't make the event or in say pta ...... it would be possible that if you in pta drop off a blanket at my place and i will take it thru or if you in jhb ..either give a blanket to someone attending the event or even just swing by Indulgence cafe corner of beyers naude and mountainview rd in northcliff before the event (they open all day till 5 pm and sat all morning )
so GFSA ers how about a push to help make this winter better for others..........
if you in pta and want to donate a blanket just pm me and we can arrange dropping it off and i will take it thru on sat , or drop off some prematurely at indulgence cafe in jhb and tell mandi, it's for the blanket drive.........
