Howdy folks

Are these in SA yet? I remember there being a topic a while ago about them coming in. But are they here and where in PTA\JHB can i get one?

as far as i know they aren't in the country yet ( I'm not sure who the agents are anymore for H&K as Marshall music don't import them anymore) but i can't wait for them to arrive! look like awesome little amps!!

Until a couple months ago this was the main item on my shopping list. I've never tried one in the flesh, but it was (and to some extent, still is) exactly the set of features I was looking for in a smaller wattage amp.

When I spoke to both Music Connection and Marshall Music a couple months back, word was that stock would be coming in within 6 to 8 weeks, so you might be able to get your hands on one by now, unless there have been some delays.

I would love to get my hands on one of these! I have immense respect for Hughes and Kettner amps. They really pay alot of attention to detail!

Saw and heard one of these babies at TOMS Sandton today 8).......caught a skrik , when I saw the price though ?

How much are they?

Well that price is NOT expensive if you think a 15w fender princeton is retailing before discount at about 20k and a deluxe reverb is well into mid 20k , and remember this is 18w so loud and also high tech cos see how light weight it is for a gig ready tube amp , and as usual in sa music stores orob a good 25 % discount is there if you ask or find other dealers if yours won't give it to you , so yeah realistically its a bargain for a german made amp thats light weight yet powerful enough for most gigs

Good point... Well until I can afford one I'll be happy with my old HK anniversary edition ?

I saw it again yesterday , 13.5 k is the already discounted price ☹
TOMS Sandton is open this morning , till about 1pm , go check it out anyway.

P.S.
If you think thats a lot of $$$ for that amp , then stay far away from the new range of Tom Anderson Guitars they just got in ?

I touched them all yesterday, the Tom Anderson's...even though the sign said, "Do not touch".
I'm going there just now to touch them again. ?

They have one in music connection, I touched the top metal bit and it shocked me hahaha
Maybe a grounding flaw but that is a brand new one
Sound wise, they r OK, don't expect a triamp or even a duo tone sound out of it
