SoundBoard Open Mic Night 6 June

Hi All.... as promised here is our first Open Mic Nite...... Here is an opportunity for all of those of you who have been bashing out your favourite tunes in your bedroom to come and play them for us......... There is an added bonus for all of you that live/work closer to Pretoria as this event is in Centurion.

Time : 8:00 PM
Venue: Irene Village Hall - Cnr. Pioneer and Main streets Irene. (Please follow the directions on the map below as the venue is in a secure suburb and there are closed off streets everywhere)

Open mic nights are the coolest thing. I've seen at the TJ's open mic night how many people there are with instruments, skills, even their own songs but no platform except that provided by the open mic.

And for those of us who want to or just wonder if we can share some music with an audience, they're a great way of dipping a first toe into those waters and sharpening up your skills.

They can be great for the audiences too.

What is the format in regards to set length, or amount of songs etc?

We'll run the night similar to TJ's....... set limited to 3 songs or 15mins...... When you arrive, put your name on the list and when your turn comes you get your chance to shoot the lights out...!!!!
