Power supplies for pedal board?

Hi everyone, I'm just starting to build up my pedal collection and I'm sick of using 9v batteries! Iv seen a lot of the different power supplies that are available here on the forum but I don't know enough about them to decide which one to get :-\ Can anyone suggest some to me that won't break the bank but can power at least 7-10 pedals?

I'll shortly be going the Fuel Tank route - at current prices they're about the same as the Voodoo Labs equivalents anyway, and my LGS has a couple of "old stock" Classics in shop at the same price as the Junior or ISO 5.

Should cure the persistent irritating hum I've got from my pedal train once and for all. Think I'll have to chat to Matta about some decent patch cables then.

I am definitely on a budget so I've decided to go with one of these and just use batteries for my Boost 'n Buff for now (or see what it's like on 9V as the website says it can run on 9 or 18). My question is; how does one run multiple pedals off it? Daisy chain? I'm not too clued up on these things and have only used batteries so far.

Correct, will look like:

Available at your local music store. Just remember you need to swop the polarity of the 2.1mm jack on the mantech power supply.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I am going to Mantech today. Never been there before, so just want to know if its like a store where you can just go in and find your item (in this case, Im going for the power supply).

It's not like a normal shop; you have to wait at the counter until someone helps you - I just placed an order for the power supply and the correct power socket online then picked the up at the collection counter and paid in store. Much quicker that way - the collection queue is usually shorter. I went once to get contact cleaner or something and didn't place an order and I waited quite a while.
Edit: I just noticed you're in Cape Town. Not sure but I would guess it works the same way as in JHB.

Yip. Shouldn't be a problem as far as I can tell. Maybe just take the part numbers with you:

When I picked mine up they offered to solder the new plug on too (for a fee of course, so I declined)

This thread's been dead for a while but I thought I'd give an update:
These PSUs are now listed as "On Request" I wanted to get another and after a number of emails I and a visit to Mantech, I found that it's been replaced by this:

Seems to be almost identical spec.
