New Van Halen ?

(apologies if already discussed and I missed it!)

Been listening to it the last few days. Yeah I think it's ok, I still enjoy Eddie's playing and tone, Lee Roth sounds like he somehow belongs here and Van Halen jnr probably adds some energy to proceedings. Overall, I will keep listening and I don't think I have wasted my money etc!

Funnily enough, now that I have turned 40, I think the main thing I got from this CD is that I should still, in theory, be able to rock my arse off on guitar well into my 50s, and I enjoy this thought! (my father seemed so old and useless at the same age....)

I love the new album,somekiller tracks on it. Guys are comfortable too on record anyway, if the article is right I guess personalities ain't changed

its not a bad album , but not really van halen , van halen v2 . it sounds like them but not really

I'd say worth getting but only if you like VH... ?

Just finished listening to this.
This is good stuff

Most of the songs were written in the mid 70's and they manage to get that energy on this album.
DLR is Van Halen (Sorry to the Sammy fans)
I know Eddie has been copied and he is old hat, but there is just something special when Eddie does it.
