I took another shot at it.
Seems to me that it might be in the key of C# something and the chords might be:
1. Emadd11 or C#m6b5
2. Bb#11add#9 or C#m maj6b9
3. G#7add11 or C#7sus4
4. C#m7
5. Cadd9
6. Bbmaj6add9 or C#6b5b9 or Gmadd#11
As you can see, i'm pretty much rubbish at chord naming ?
As for the progression, this is what i've got so far (thumb-suck):
biii - VI - V - i - VII - VI
I really like what you did here Arjun. Particularly no.1 where you gave a rootless chord. My other alternative I had to the Em was an A7.
2. my alternative was Dm6/9maj7. This would have given a nice tritone shift to the Ab as well
3. C#7 should have been a maj7
6. I liked all 3 choices of root there, where all would go to the i easily.
Nice one bud ?

My chord naming is horrible, so this will be fun ?
EmAdd11
A# Hendrix chord? I think it's called a Bb#9 (no 7th)
G#11
C#m7
CAdd9
Gm b5/ Bb (some form of inversion?)
? PM me the answer pls!
That last one of yours threw me a bit until i worked it out. Using the G as a root you'd have a Gm maj7/Bb (which is the 3rd in the bass so first inversion of a i chord in minor). Good job on calling the #9 on the Bb. In my first typing of the chord I included the 7th by accident (cos I was thinking V chord so absent mindedly just put it in)... after seeing your response and Bob's I realised my mistake. So thanks to both of you there ?
