I was wondering..how many of you have Tattoo's,how many and where.. ???

It would seem that tattoo's are more popular than ever and I have yet to see a modern rock/metal outfit that dont have some form of ink...somewhere*

My Dad scared me about this, he has a previous girlfriends name on his arm and kind of irked my mum on many occassions.

I had one when I was 14 or so, but quickly regretted it immensely and had it removed in my early 20's.

PS: how do you justify how many you have? You could have a sleeve and that'd only be one. Or do you count the number of sessions? Individual pieces linked to form one?

ok well i don't have any atm,BUT i'm suppose to be going in late Dec/eraly jan for mine...i'm getting a traditional japanese dragon on my right arm(bicep/tricep).....i have my ears pierced and my nose pierced though ?

granted but people go through phases in life, I had the long peroxided hair etc the weird clothes, then you move on. just wouldnt want to move on and wonder why it is that I have some silly picture on my arm ?

I'm no fan of tattoos, or piercings. I'm pretty much a minimalist at heart. I've only just got a watch, in fact ?
Besides, knowing me, I'd spend a year deciding on a tattoo, and change my mind at the last minute, and whatever I decided, i'd regret in a week.

Well, that's the reason I waited so long for mine and why I've waited two years before getting anything else. I wanted and need to make sure that what I'm getting done is what I'm convinced I'll still be happy with in years to come.

I have a Triquetra on my right shoulder. It symbolizes the Holy trinity and is interlaced with a circle - indicating unity and strength.

My next one may also be a religious one, or one to do with cars.

I'll get one symbolizing music too... my three passions.

The decision on what to get and where to put it is almost as important as the decision to get one in the first place.
Tattoo's are NOT a fashion accessory and should not be done just for the sake of it..you should have a damn good reason for having one done.

I have 2 scorpions one on each shoulder blade..representing my 18 and 21st birthdays respectively,I have a phoenix on my right arm representing my rebirth after drug addiction and a skeletal hand print surrounded by flames on my left arm symbolizing being touched by death after my dad passed on and then I have my daughters name in old english sanscrit across my left forearm.

Everyone for a reason and each piece is custom..you wont find any of my tat's on a flash card in a shop....

that's pretty deep... you got your tattoos for the right reasons atleast...

the tattoo i want i've been thinking about for the past 2 or 3 years and i think i finally wanna get it done...i've always been into japanese artwork since i was really young,i know it's not a good a reason as say lawrence's tattoos,but it's something that i've loved for aslong as i can remember...there's something about a dragon that means alot to me,alot of people think that it's evil and whatever but i honestly don't care,if i wanted evil i'd get a regular dragon...

another tattoo i want to get is MUSIC in japanese letters,i just haven't decided where i want to put it yet...i've loved music as long as i can remember,even though i only picked up my guitar when i was 14 or so,i've loved music and it's been a driving force in my life since i was very young...

there are a few more that i want to get just for looks i won't lie,example a japanese demon,they look so amazing and the other design is a black angel holding a sword with red eyes and is being sucked down(sounds really evil i know,but it looks amazing) i want to put that on my back....

if it were allowed in jobs,i would theme my hole arm as a japanese artwork of a warrior fighting off demons,etc. but that's just not a reality as no one would employ me ☹

so yeah,people all get tattoos for different reasons,some for bench marks in their lives,to remember people,to help 'em remember what they once were,to piss their parents off,but whatever the reason,think about it VERY carefully because you could end up with a piece of shit on your body that you gotta live with for the rest of your life...

I have no tattoos, but my wife and I have often spoken about getting some, not sure if it will ever happen though.

I have one...I regret it mainly because of what it is, not because it's a tattoo.

I had a tattoo sponsor for a year last year but I just didn't know what I wanted to get and when I did, I couldn't find a designer lol So I kinda just wasted it.

I plan on getting my entire inside forearm done...mainly to cover up the current tattoo. And my right leg, calf section done ? both pieces with fairly meaningful topics!
