Some Cubase questions :-
1. I can load a MIDI file and it plays back fine, but when I export it to a WAV file, nothing comes out, what am I doing wrong here?
If your MIDI track is routed to a VSTi (VST Instrument) in the VSTi Rack (F11), make sure the MIDI track AND the VSTi's output is soloed when you export. Cubase should do this automatically when you solo the MIDI track as long as it's routed to a VSTi. If you're using Cubase 4 or later you can actually select which output is exported in the audio export dialogue without soloing anything. If you're using an LE or Aritist version, some of these features might not be available.

1. Add MIDI or Instrument Track.
2. In the case of a MIDI track, route it to Groove Agent in the VSTi Rack. In the case of an Instrument Track, merely select Groove Agent when prompted.
3. Using the pencil tool (8) you can write a MIDI event to the desired length, directly to the track in the project window.
4. Double click the newly created MIDI event to display the MIDI piano roll editor.
5. You can now manually write in MIDI data to the piano roll using the pencil tool.

Um, no. This may be a graphics card issue that is particular to your system.
Hope that helps.
Cheers ?
