Sorry to talk about this again. I just want to know, is anyone else experiencing serious delays with getting stuff from overseas anywhere? I'm thinking maybe it has to do with the Post Office strike which I hear about on the wireless. I have a few orders from pretty long back with no news from the post office yet. when you track it, it tracks until in South Africa weeeeeks back and then nothing. So, I'm thinking maybe I should just go and get the stuff at a depot. Sometime back someone was talking about collecting at a depot - no?

In any case your order is in SA probably of tracking stopped... and you shoudl have received a not fron the post office

It can be a bit inconsistent...I bought an Ibanez Edge bridge on the 30th March off Ebay - seller was supposed to ship Priority International but went and used First Class Int'l instead )according to USPS, he never actually communicated this to me) - I never received it. I had to open an "item not received case on Ebay to get my money back.
Once I had my cash back I bought a Lo-Pro Edge from another seller, he shipped it last week Thursday via USPS Express International (a bit pricey but I wanted to make sure this one got here, and fast!) - picked it up from the depot yesterday as I wasn't willing to wait another week for it to get to my local PO 10km away.
I've found that once a parcel arrives in SA you have to watch it like a hawk because it can take 3 days from posting to arrive in SA (1000's of km) but then weeks to get from the depots to the local Post Offices so I always collect from the depot once it arrives in my city.

2 to 4 weeks max.
4 weeks over xmas, and 2 weeks over easter, and 3 weeks at other times. No worries 8)

Ordered some pedals over a month and a half ago and just received them today. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the post office strike because the parcel arrived in the country over 3 weeks ago.
