Watching these is one of my favourite pastimes , a lil delicious decendent pleasure if you like. Been drawn to b grade movies since we emigrated to ZA and i ended up going to a local bioscope (they were bioscopes in those days) and watching movies all day for 5 cents , the quality of movie was not top classs. Of all B grade movies Horrors are my favourite favourite....loved the Saw series , especially the first one which i thought was incredibly clever....anyway last night i rented Wrong Turn 4 ....Wow ...what a blood fest ....the one scene where they having a fondue of the oke.
Anyone else love these kinda movies? favourites
Squonk
Good stuff ICM
I also have a liking for these films. Enjoyed the first SAW and Wrong Turn, haven't seen the others yet.
The original "My Bloody Valentine" is my favourite along with the original "When a Stranger Calls" . Bad acting but usually clever scripts.

Not much of a fan of the new horror movies coming out these days, but the classics like Hellraiser and Nightmare on Elm Street are cinematic legends in my eyes ?

I use to love the British horror movies (Hammer Studios). I'm not a fan of American horror stuff...too crude.
MIKA-the-better-one
Planet terro is a great film....
Also check out Zombie Cannibal Holocaust.. or just Cannibal Holocaust.
Also Man from Deep River (the original b grade film that started them all.
Also Naked Prey, said to have been the real original set in Africa

Also any Mystery Science Theatre 3000

I'm watching a great B movie now: Mega Python V Gatoroid.
An unlikely cast of Micky Dolenz, Debbie Gibson and Tiffany. Cheap CGI monster snakes and loads of CGI, obviously phoney blood all over the place. Micky gets swallowed in one gulp by a giant beastie.
Fabulous!

Peter Jackson's first film, Bad Taste. Its B grade horror sci-fi delux, from the green alien vomit down to the bad wigs on the extras. Jackson plays 2 parts in the film as well.
Obvias to mention Evil Dead.

I wouldn't recommend watching this movie, but just the trailer is hilarious:

hmmmmmmmmmm. I've always been into the cult horror stuff, mainstream stuff doesn't really float my boat anymore.
dude, you totally need to watch The Ice Cream Man (if you haven't already.......lol.)
Attack of the killer tomatoes, killer clowns from outer space, Evil Dead, Near dark, man the list just goes on and on.
I watched nightmare on Elm street when I was 8-9 I think. I didn't sleep for a week............lol.
LMFAO @ Sharktopus............what a hoot.
