So bad it's good. That's the word.
Have you seen the SW Holiday Special? A friend of mine had it on a scratchy VHS complete with ad breaks. To be fair, the ads were at least in the so-bad-its-good range ("TOBOR!! It's robot spelled backwards!"), but I can understand Lucas trying to delete the show itself from our memories. Just... Awful. Apparently it was voted #1 on a list of most stupid events in TV history, but my best is this description: "I'm not convinced the special wasn’t ultimately written and directed by a sentient bag of cocaine."
I haven't seen it but if the XKCD dude says it's bad it must be horrible.
I tend to aim for that hump in the middle.
Luckily we still have companies like Troma Entertainment and Asylum Films that still make these gems.
(Lloyd Kaufman is my hero!)
I have ranted about how horrible most modern films are before.
Special affects exhibits with huge plot-holes and zero character development. >☹
So Hollywood can go get stuffed.
I'm off to watch Snakes on a Train again. ?
