Hi Guys

I've been previewing music on this here forum and honestly I can say a collaboration is definitely on the cards, the talent is bordering on extreme! I like to give feedback on what I do listen to, at least one song a week, it's the least I can do.

The other good news is that work on the film soundtrack EP I'm tasked with is progressing extremely well. The first track (On The Threshold Of The Unseen - https://www.box.com/s/6dm3p8o6dlm9177sq3u3) could turn out to be the theme song, as you'll probably guess from it, it's not that much of an upbeat type project, more twisted than anything, but it's the breakthrough people speak of in hindsight.

I've decided to share the 2nd demo track for the project that I've composed, it's an acoustic number, in line with the theme.

It sounds cool mate, and you know your stuff better than I, but from my perspective, why not record the acoustic guitars acoustically, rather than use the piezos - I reckon they'd sound so much warmer. But the arrangements sound really good. You know your stuff.

I did record quite a few takes, and did numerous mixes, including one with the acoustic guitars recorded acoustically, I'm not sure which mix it is but after all the finalizing that mix just didn't fit in with the rest of the songs as a whole & for the sonic tone required I decided to go with this particular mix. I keep all the mixes, unmixed, premixes, pre demos, demos, final mixes, differential mixes, so there's a whole lot that goes into each song, recording is tricky, sound engineering is deathly.

Thanks for the compliment on my guitar playing, still figuring things out and enjoying the journey as always.
