New Fender Amp: 13W, tremolo and 15" speaker

Part of the pawnshop series.
So 13W and a nice size speaker, tremolo and around $300. Sounds perfect right?

Maybe you guys feel different, but I think it sounds pretty crap on anything other than completely clean.

Imo it doesn't sound too bad, it fuzzes up like the 5E3 (albeit way later) rather than giving you a soaring lead when od'n. Very 50's. But regardless, it looks to be a very decent modding platform for the price. There is so much chassis space with the 'primary' chassis on the floor and pre-amp on top! Will have to see what people can wring from that OT. These are going to fly. The guys on the US forums are going crazy! I think this will be the next Valve Jr Sr. Wonder what it'll cost here.

Sounds like it could be a good jazz amp with tube tone into a 15 " now to see if it stays clean enough to play with a drummer with brushes, oh and i love that vintage styling of cab , i'll try one, are they available yet?

I see that its reaching Sweetwater's warehouses 13th May, they've been available for preorder for a while. I don't know about the drummer thing.. its 13 W and probably only clean up till about 10 max, might be just enough, but if you get a more efficient speaker you could probably do it? Its pretty much a tamed 5E3.

Re cab, I think the look of it is great. Really dislike the handle and branding though.. Swords? They could have done a bit better. But I guess you can take off that little sword badge.

. . . so, is anyone gonna get one/have one allready for that durty sleeazy garage blues rock type of thing ?

Also, i am wonderring how loud this amp will have to be, before it starts to break up.
Does anyone know ?
