So which rocker wears the lowest slung guitar?

With my new love for clean sound, I've also picked up my a few notches on my guitar strap (only my ar 300 though) as it just feels more comfortable, my warlock and explorer still hang real low. SO it got me thinking...............what rockers wear their guits LOOOOOOOOW..........I was thinking Johnny Ramone. But I'm sure that there are more.

I'm sure that there are some more punkers out there that are lower. I know slash is low sometimes as well as bass man Jon from devildriver.

Anyone else?

With some guitars, they can only be played low due to the shape, like my warlock..........

Play an explorer and you'll feel straight away that it needs to be lower than a normal guit. 99% of my playing is below the belt......lol.

At the other end of the scale I used to play in a band with a bass player who was really short (5" nothing) and had a fair boep. He had the strap so short the bass was up under his right armpit. He could tilt his head forward and just about play the E with his chin. His left arm was almost at full stretch to fret the first.

He was an absolute magician though, real ripper on bass.

He, he... I look like an old pic of a '50s player (and that's only because I've relaxed in recent years). My guitars look like necklaces when bigger people try and put them on. A few have nearly choked. ?

My right hand is too important a part of my playing to get away with slinging low. The thing is, the lower you go, the more you have to tilt the guitar to keep it usable for your left hand and the more it affects the right hand comfort and angle.
