I swapped my Line 6 Pod XT Live for this guitar – an Ibanez ART120 – I didn’t need the Pod and the guy was keen on a swap. I’d rather have a guitar than a pedal I don’t use, so I said yes. Now I know what some people think about Ibanez, but I personally think this is a great guitar – it’s the first one of theirs that I have had, and I am impressed.
That doesn’t mean that I am going to keep it though – I have many ‘Les Pauls’ as it is, so if you have an interesting guitar that you’d like to swap, let me know! ?
It’s got a mahogany body with a maple top. The neck is an ART Mahogany set-in neck,, 22 Medium Sized frets, Gibraltar III bridge, Quik Change III tailpiece with a LZ1-N in the neck position and a LZ1-B in the bridge (both active humbuckers, and they run off AA batteries – much, much better than expensive 9Vs). I like the bridge – quite industrial looking – and the thing keeps its tune really well. Its mint apart from a small crack at the bottom of the body (you’ll see it in the last photo)
